I went to the Cheyenne Vet a couple years ago and realized I never left a review! I was just telling a friend yesterday what an amazing experience I had here. At the time, I thought our dog, Hector, was going to die as his primary vet thought he had lymph node cancer and they could not do surgery. We were recommended to the emergency vets who we could not afford and had a 2 month wait to get it anyway. I called around and thankfully found Dr. Gross. He was honest with me about my options, got my dog in that week and the cost for the exam and surgery was reasonable. The best news came after the procedure when we learned it was his undescended testicles and as it was that and not lymph node cancer, it was a very low chance it would spread and return! We were shocked as we thought he was neutered! Anyway, I can't recommend this place enough. They saved my dog, my wallet and me from losing my mind over the thought of losing Hector!
I can't rave enough about how amazing this team has been between quick scheduling, fantastic care, and extremely reasonable price. My oldest pup is recovery well after having a very large lump removed. Very impressed with the service and help.

We moved to the city around 5 years ago and spent the better half of two years searching for a vet as good as our small town OGs only find Cheyenne basically in our back yard!
I cannot express my gratitude enough for the attentiveness and kindness of this vet as we have two geriatric dogs and one very adventures puppy who loves to get herself into all kinds of pickles! Luckily, these guys are always on the top of their game and are able to accommodate our needs and schedule without issue.
Dr Steve is a real one — I wouldn’t dream of taking my pets anywhere else!
I won't lie. I was a bit taken back by the building being a bit run down. But I never felt things were unsanitary so I stuck around.
Glad I did, the staff was amazing. My cat has been known to be difficult to get blood and urine from. But the vet techs did it. Vet was great, especially explaining all the tests to me on the phone later. And on top of all that. The receptionist was really sweet about helping me find an easy way to get there and park (I'm brand new to South Slope and the hills really scare me)
Cost 2/3 of VCA. So glad I found a great caregiver for my baby in our new home.
My older dog needed surgery on her hip and Steve not only did the surgery on her but squeezed us in so she didn’t have to wait! Great caring vet and staff, couldn’t ask for a more down to earth vet. He actually sits down on the floor, and pets your dog or cat making sure they feel safe and comfortable. Never seen a vet so in touch with animals before. A+A+A+
